Strong flavor of orange and a bold sweetness. This beer is full of bitter, sour, citrus, spice, caramel, wheat, yeast, and dried fruit, and apricot flavors. Medium bodied and soft in the mouth with decent carbonation. Finishes dry. Very complex and well balanced beer.

Sweet malty, light honey wheaty and weak fruity taste with notes of bread, orange peel and camomile. Dry finish, but overall quite weak beer. PattyBoy (302), North Liberty, Iowa, USA

12 oz bottle at the Jerusalem Garden, Asheville. This American Wheat beer was a perfect complement to my Middle-Eastern vegetarian platter (falafel, baba ghanoush, tabbouleh, kalamata olives, and hommous with pita).
The fruitiness from the weizen yeast perked right up with the Mediterranean spices and the Saaz finish cut right in with the olive oil in the food to make this a quencher.
Another stellar offering from Bells!

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 31, 2008 Bright hazy orange with a big white head. This one is quite fruity but unlike a hefeweizen its more aof a apricot/orange flavour. Finishes on a hop note. Very good. GAManiac (1142), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 30, 2008 Pours an ever so slightly hazy golden amber with lots of bubbles rising to the top into a short-living white head that dissipates to a swirl and ring quickly leaving traces of lacing. Aroma is sweet with bready wheat balance with the citrus hops with lemons and oranges. Taste follows the aroma with the big wheat backbone up front and a slight hop bitterness in the finish with mainly citrus. A hint of spices show up in the taste that I didn’t get in the smell. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with tons of carbonation and makes for a very drinkable summer wheat beer.
