tomthompson89 (1459), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 8, 2009 Had at the Ecentric cafe as well as many bottles hazy amber orange color big fluffy foam. nose is citrus and some yeasty barnyard zest, flavor is citrus and wheat not usually a wheat ale fan but this is really refreshing ElDuderino (136), Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, USA Oct 5, 2009 Bottle. Pours a golden clean body with a frothy/buttery white head. Nose is full of dry outdoorsy smells, hay, wet tree branches, slightly dusty and sweet. The flavors are mild and have some notes of orange peel, corriander, simple syrup, and dry grass. The mouthfeel was absolutely amazing for this style. Nothing poked or prodded and the beer was perfectly balanced and pleasant, even though I’m not a fan of the style. NomDeBeer (398), Maryland, USA Oct 4, 2009 Another underwhelming offering from Bells. Boring and unremarkable with a bit of a peroxide finish. I realize wheat beers are unfiltered, and therefore hazy with sediment, but this left a strange gellatin-like mass of floaties in my glass - never seen anything quite like it. Not bad really, but I don’t see any reasong to drink this again. beersearcher (203), Glendale, California, USA Sep 29, 2009 light, almost airy. has a nice corn taste to it. nice yellow coloring. refreshing. Jayb0 (750), Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA Sep 29, 2009 Another winner from bells. On draft a nice orange-gold, hazy looker with strong aromas of wheat and tangy citrus. Well balanced with just enough spice, wheat, and citrus juice to match the malt backbone. refreshing. joeneugs (289), Livermore, California, USA Sep 28, 2009 Pours cloudy gold/yellow with lots of floaties. It has a an aroma of lemon, wheat, orange peel, and soap. The flavor is yeasty, a touch of spice, soapy and a nice backbone of honey/caramel sweetness, but pretty dry for the most part. It ends on a nice citrus peel bitterness. This was a nice refreshing summer beer. pete4999 (121), Buffalo, New York, USA Sep 22, 2009 Bottle courtesy of Devil’s Advocate from Fever. Thanks! Dark yellow, almost orange pour. Very tasty, especially for a wheat, which I don’t drink often. It has a slightly spicy, very saison feel to it. Earthy, but also subtle sweet fruits - apricot, etc. Not overwhelmingly sweet, but good sweetness that you would expect from a summery wheat. yobdoog (1426), Woodridge NY, New York, USA Sep 22, 2009 Bright orange yellow color with a dense head. Aroma is really nice. Sweet with some zesty citrus hops. Very clean, but don’t age this one. Very floral taste and bright and refreshing. Love those mini kegs. Great beer.
