Pours a very clear, bright golden yellow with a small bubbly white head. Remains extremely lacy and rather good looking. Aroma is light and wheat malty. Some mellowness to it with citrus and grassy hops. Taste is similar, very smooth and mellow. Full mouthfeel. Overall, maybe I had a bad first batch, but after giving this a try again, I’m very glad I didn’t give up on this beer. A solid session beer and a decent tasting wheat. Thanks Ceebs for making me rethink my first rating! sirpsycho (343), Murrysville, Pennsylvania, USA

Flavor is wheat, malt and a touch of lemon and bubblegum hiding in there. Light body, good beer for drinking in the summer heat. This beer is a great warm weather companion that will not only "quench" a thirst but also leave the imbiber wanting more!
A= A rich amber color with requisite cloudiness. Upon glass entry, a reasonable head and resulting lace as consumption ensued.
S= Definate light fruit with a hint of sweet wheat.
T= Smooth and quenching with an off-dry finish.
M= 30% weight to viscosity ratio. Chewy.
D= "Session" ready .
Pairing suggestion: Puffed rice encrusted talapia with mango chutney.

Extremely drinkable, flavorful and refreshing. 6% seems just the right level too to be an everyday drinker. awautlet (45), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

Hints of wheat but not sweet like many are. There is enough hop to it to really balance it out. SQNfan (591), Wheaton, Illinois, USA

Light, crisp and a nice comparison to the Uberon as they came off as two completely different beers because of the barrel aging. This was a wonderfully crisp and balance summer wheet. Happy to have picked up a 5L to open as sume BBQ this summer! BuckeyeSammy (455), Cleveland, Ohio, USA

So enjoyable with a burger on a hot summer day. Apricot with fluffy white head. Crisp, flavor of orange spice, wheat, citrus, a schtickle of hop notes. GJF (492), Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 4, 2008 On tap at the sanctuary. A cloudy yellow, almost orange. It’s bready with a citrus finish. Good clean flavor, but none of the wheat tanginess I expect. Good drinking, but nothing outrageous (particularly for a Bell’s!).
