BOLTZ7555 (1053), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Jun 5, 2008 Middle of the road here...nice session brew but nothing to write home about. Hazy tangerine with small lemon yellow head. The aroma is mild citrus, wheat, and spice. Flavor is honey-nut Cheerios and a squeeze of orange. Refreshing and light. lweiberg (89), Eagan, Minnesota, USA Jun 2, 2008 Smooth and easy, fairly modest but not something that’ll make you say wowee wow or anything. Angeloregon (2024), Portland, Oregon, USA Jun 2, 2008 From a bottle purchased in Raleigh, NC (Thanks, Margaret!)--Poured a bright, hazy golden-orange with a creamy white head. Wheaten nose with evidence of spicy hops. Nice mixture of American and Czech style wheat beer. Mildly tart and astringent, but mostly fruity and spicy. Finished with a big wheat presence. Pretty good. DWestrick (234), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA Jun 1, 2008 bottle. Probably the best wheat beer I’ve had...cloudy appearence wheat with some citrus flavors. Another great Bell’s beer...they don’t make a bad beer Trev (849), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA May 31, 2008 Pours a medium gold with a large white foamy head and heavy sediment.
Very light wheat and lemon aroma with a hint of grassy hop. Somewhat subtle aroma.
Flavour is nice orange-citrus and grain that isn’t overpowering. Some clingy bitterness in the finish. Hoppier than a lot of wheat beers. Nice though. BradsBeerBitch (1), Mattoon, Illinois, USA does not count May 31, 2008 I tell the Bud Light Drinkers of the World that Oberon can only be likened to Blue Moon on CRACK.
