Smells wonderful; hoppy, spicy, a little fruity.
Tastes just as good as it smells. I make quick work of a 6 pack with a friend.
Finishes quite well, leaving room for another. I’ve turned more than a few onto this great classic Bells beer verymerrymonk (256), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 4, 2008 Pours a cloudy orange body - no head. Citrus and a small presence of pepper and hops. Pretty refreshing - I could have a few more no doubt. andyblaz (7), New York, New York, USA does not count | 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | May 4, 2008 This is the beer that got me into good beer. Mad respect! Best on draught (but bottle is good as well). Ya’ll got to stop hatin’ on this brew. Love the hop character, light bodied with a barely (barley) noticable slight fruity yeasty punch. It’s what I think an American Wheat should be period. A true session beer for sure. Drink up Midwest. JFGrind (1350), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 2, 2008 It smells like a lager. It looks like a wheat, but with more haze than I’d expect. It tastes really sweet and fruity and upsets me because when I hear wheat, I expect grassiness, but I’m not getting that. Americans just seem to do wheats poorly. I’ll stick to my German hefeweizens any day. Sparky27 (1583), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 2, 2008 Bottle courtesy of cmr1517. Pours a cloudy orange with a minimal white head. Nose is faint lemon, grain and wheat. Palate is clean with some orange peel, sweet wheat and a touch grain bitters in the finish. Medium mouth feel. Nice, refreshing beer. Thanks for sharing this Chris! wickedpete (626), Lexington Park, Maryland, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 2, 2008 Cloudy gold body with a tall, pillowy white head which clings to the glass as it dissipates. Aroma is quite yeasty, and a sweet cotton candy character collides continuously. Intense malty flavor, very bread like, and doughy. The palate is quite thick here, making it sticky and not quite refreshing.
