Beershine (2677), Hue, Vietnam Apr 8, 2008 Bottle. Totally cloudy apricot-orange color. Mild citrusy smell with some cookie and apricot pastry smells. Thin body. Yeasty, but hoppy ending. Pretty boring. jeremyd365 (109), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA Apr 8, 2008 Just got a fresh bottle from the year’s new batch. Everything about it was great except it didn’t smell as strongly as I remember it.
Poured a medium, hazy copper color. Medium body with a strong flavor, but not overly so. Definitely a very drinkable beer. Spring has arrived! BeerFanDan17 (610), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA Apr 7, 2008 Very citrussy ale with almost a sour flavor. Definitely wheaty and fruity. Tried this on draft at a local GrillSmith restaurant. Nice frothy head. TikiE (360), Sylva, North Carolina, USA Apr 7, 2008 Opened it today hoping for hotter summer heat. Pours a hazy orange color, kind of looks like it should have orange peels in it. The smell is faint spices and the taste is of strong spices and fruit. Kind of a weird beer. Collint (450), Sylva, North Carolina, USA Apr 7, 2008 Bottle, pours a yellow haze with a typical head. Aroma is spice with an almost nutty smell. I expected much more fromt this bells. changeup45 (782), Orlando, Florida, USA Apr 7, 2008 Updated: May 13, 2008Very cloudy, dirty light orange look to it with some head but it settles down quickly. Aroma is malty and yeasty with a touch of fruit. A refreshing citrus fruity flavor with some spices and hops. Not complex but enough there to make a good wheat. Ebonheart (12), Washington, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 7, 2008 The standard by which I measure wheat beer. Served with an oragne wedge at Mad Mex. Very drinkable, and it seems to get better as the weather gets warmer. mgoy (343), Oak Brook, Illinois, USA Apr 6, 2008 Bells Oberon Ale is a very refreshing American Wheat ale. The color is a hazy orange with a very refreshing and subtle aroma. The flavor is mild and sweet with hints orange and other citrus fruit. This is a very nice beer for a sunny day!
