mgoy (343), Oak Brook, Illinois, USA Apr 6, 2008 Bells Oberon Ale is a very refreshing American Wheat ale. The color is a hazy orange with a very refreshing and subtle aroma. The flavor is mild and sweet with hints orange and other citrus fruit. This is a very nice beer for a sunny day! amishcaravan (237), Winona, Minnesota, USA Apr 4, 2008 not a very stong scent, but has tones of wheat and spices. pours a cloudy orange with some sediment falling to the bottom of the glass. nice taste with hops and wheat and some citrus. a good beer to keep in the fridge for any occasion. shackinetics (132), Florida, USA Apr 4, 2008 Golden orange pour with small tight white head. Yeasty wheat citrus aroma/flavor with a bit of spice. Thin body, but super drinkable. Darn good for the style, but I’m definitely more of a Pale Ale guy... Eladerman (53), Newburgh, Indiana, USA Apr 3, 2008 This is the best summertime wheat ale that is brewed in North America. It has so many Belgian witbier qualities, but still has its own identity. Much Much better than Goose Island’s 312 or Uplands wheat, or Blue Moon, but is similar in style. The PERFECT Pool beer. Period. bassbuckeye (81), Ohio, USA Apr 3, 2008 Cloudy orange poor... slight spice and fruit taste very refreshing... this is a good grill out beer. Not heavy on flavor though.... I will enjoy the rest of the six pack but this brewry makes better beer. mgermani (862), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Apr 3, 2008 Pours a slightly hazy dull orange with a quickly-dissipating head and only the faintest orange-leaf aroma. Tastes rather watery and bland, a bit of spiciness, orange juice. Body is well-carbonated but thin. Very disappointing - must be better on-tap. Tilley4 (218), Huron, Tennessee, USA Mar 31, 2008 Not the biggest wheat fan but this was ok. Nice, light, and citrusy. Lots of floaters but no big deal. Fairly smooth going down. wilkie (1189), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA Mar 31, 2008 Bottle. Very hazy, with lots of floaties, small white head. Aroma is yeasty, but not overly so, and has a touch of lemon. Flavor is a bit tasty, a bit of yeast and spice, some bready malts, spicy, yet not too yeasty, and easy to drink. My wife would love this beer.
