agl108 (503), Manayunk, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 30, 2008 12 oz. bottle at Flat Rock Saloon. Poured hazy gold/orange with scant head. Bready nose. Spicy, yeasty with some slight esters noticeable. A good summer beer. CP (124), USA Mar 29, 2008 Ok, I could some this beer up in two words "Blue Moon", but I will say a little more....Aroma is very faint mix of oranges and wheat. Appearance is a cloudy orange (..yes like blue moon!). The beer is very light on the palate and doesn’t leave much taste. An ok chug-able beer. Not much else going on with it. Nice white lacing. dkachur (2315), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Mar 27, 2008 Bottle from Whole Foods in Charlottesville. I tried this first last year and was underwhelmed. I’ve heard this year’s batch is better. We’ll see. I’m not a fan of the aroma, which is a slight yeastiness, bubblegum and cardboard. Small but persistent head and excellent lacing. Hazy peach in appearance. Fruity taste nicely balanced with the hops. Good taste. jbuzz (658), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Mar 27, 2008 A tasting at Three Cellars Milwaukee. An excellent Wheat with a slight fruit hint. esjaygee (1467), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Mar 26, 2008 At Three Cellars tasting Bell’s Brewery night. Pale cloudy yellow with a medium wheaty aroma to go with a light citrus aroma. Tastes of wheat and mild fruit, somewhat spicy. Pretty good for a wheat beer. toddkrem (78), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Mar 25, 2008 Lots of carbonation, medium head. Smells like a budweiser and is cloudy. Didn’t taste very fruity at all. Maybe a slight banana taste. jabrewing (11), Denver, Colorado, USA Mar 25, 2008 Its an OK beer. It has way to much buzz for what it is. Very drinkable but not outstanding. jeffwilliams11 (310), hooterville, Michigan, USA Mar 25, 2008 Updated: Feb 6, 2009this is the symbolic beginning of summer in a pint glass here in michigan. smooth and creamy, nice white head. hazy straw/orange in color. flavor is a little citrusy, milky, very mild spice in the back. very drinkable, perfect for a day at the beach, if it wasn’t 29 degrees outside.
