At Three Cellars tasting Bell’s Brewery night. Pale cloudy yellow with a medium wheaty aroma to go with a light citrus aroma. Tastes of wheat and mild fruit, somewhat spicy. Pretty good for a wheat beer.

Lots of carbonation, medium head. Smells like a budweiser and is cloudy. Didn’t taste very fruity at all. Maybe a slight banana taste.

Its an OK beer. It has way to much buzz for what it is. Very drinkable but not outstanding.

this is the symbolic beginning of summer in a pint glass here in michigan. smooth and creamy, nice white head. hazy straw/orange in color. flavor is a little citrusy, milky, very mild spice in the back. very drinkable, perfect for a day at the beach, if it wasn’t 29 degrees outside.

12oz. Pours hazy orange/yellow with a pillowy white head. Nose is a bit subdued, but I found some banana, spice and alcohol. Flavors are a bit more complex adding whole milk, chapstick and lime to the mix. This one is ALL about mouthfeel for me, soooo smooth and creamy on the palate even extra cold. Somehow there is some carbonation left that keeps this one pretty refreshing.

I live in Kalamazoo so I may be biased but Oberon is awesome. The release day is a holiday to most WMU students.

Pours a cloudy orange with nice white head. Aroma of spice, malt, and orange. Very quenching and smooth.

A nice, summer unfiltered wheat ale. It has light notes of coriander along with its cirus zest, but it’s balance leans a little much towards the malt and it can be watery on the palate when bought on draft. Overall though, it is a drinkable, refreshing summer beer.
