Poured at the brewpub. It has a cloudy straw colored body with a think white head. The aroma is very wheaty with a fairly strong lemony character. The flavor is nice and light with a slight hop flavor. It is very light bodied and makes an excellent summer drinker.

Pours a nice and hazy gold with a fair amount of creamy head that laces nicely. Smells of citrus rind, orange, lemon and yeast. Tastes as it smells with spice and a little hops and finishes with a dryness. Feels light in the mouth and quenches ones thirst very well. A session beer no doubt and on a summer day this is an oasis.

Bottle. Pours hazy light orange with white head with good retention. Aroma is spicy citrus, and slightly toasty. Flavor is spicy and fruity, with slight bitterness near the end. Medium bodied with pleasant carbonation. A little heavy, but very drinkable.

Bottle. Moderate aromas of light bread and dough, light notes of lemon and pear. Head is frothy white, with good to fair lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is hazy but sparkling, amber with an orange tint and there’s teeny tiny particles. Flavor starts lightly sweet and moderately acidic, then finishes lightly sweet and very lightly bitter. Palate is medium, creamy and has a soft carbonation. It has a fantastic clean finish. Finally a decent wheat beer. This was really above my expectations. Cheers Bell’s.

12 oz. bottle from John’s Grocery (Iowa City, IA). Pours a pretty cloudy bright orange with minimal head that quickly dissipates. Smells of malt and some light citrus notes. Taste is a very nice yeastiness that is followed by a small citrus bight. Finish is a small citrus bite and a wheaty smooth aftertaste. Well balanced wheat beer that is enjoyable and refreshing.

12 oz bottle from Total Wine in Jacksonville, FL. Finally, another Bell’s product makes its way to Florida. Pours a nice cloudy gold color with a small head. Aroma is citrusy, some malt. Taste is sharp with a bread/yeast taste then a nice citrus and hops bite on the end. Will drink this again.

Bottle. Nose is light sour orange, bubblegum, and citrus hops. Sticky-sweet aromas punctuated by sourness. Opaque bright orange, heavy sediment, lots of slow carbonation up to almost no head. Opens with a sharp yeast acidity, extremely well balanced by citrus rind bitterness. Palate starts chewy, ends dry but smooth. Refreshing and satisfying. An exceptionally well-balanced beer in all respects.

Real great find! Fruity and refreshing, great summer ale, shame can’t get it in the winter.
