Jobus (7), Chuluota, Florida, USA does not count Oct 10, 2007 Bottled. I love this beer and finally found it in Florida. Has a orange hazy look. Interesting mix of wheat and fruit that offset each other in a delicious way. Not bitter, sour, etc. at all. ante (2904), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 10, 2007 Bottled. Pours out in a warm golden colour with orange edges. The foam is low but still floating. Mild aroma of slightly sourish yellow fruit, biscuit and metal. Flavour of apricots, metal and biscuit in a light body. Short and mild finish of of cookies and apricots. oh6gdx (8798), Vasa, Finland Oct 9, 2007 Bottled (thanks drewbeerme!). Hazy golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is bread, orange peels, some wheat and mild hops. Flavour is wheat, bread, carael, cookies, cocos and some slight spicyness. Slight notes of strawberries. TBone (6675), Pori, Finland Oct 8, 2007 Bottled
Hazy orange, small white head, some lace. Coriander and other spices, citrus, ryeish bready wheat and hops in the nose. Light body. Despite of "made with European ingredients" very American. Refreshing, but same time a bit boring. RSRIZZO (1345), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Oct 7, 2007 Had this beer on 6/23/2000. Aroma is hoppy and sweet. Color is a light gold. Taste starts with a light body that goes down crisp. Finish is a clean bitter taste (I mean there is nothing there but bitterness). I did not like this beer. falafeljack (4), USA does not count Oct 6, 2007 Quite possibly my absolute favorite American Seasonal ales ever. Very strong aroma but not over-powering. Sweet finish with the right amount of bitter. Good with an orange slice but amazing without out. Definitely the best summer beer... Beerman6686 (1264), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 4, 2007 Probably my favorite american wheat. Just the perfect amount of spices to be present, but not overpowering, great with a nice slice of orange and a cool summers night PHotchkiss (10), East Lansing, Michigan, USA Oct 2, 2007 12 oz. bottle, as well as mini-keg, Quality Dairy, Lansing. One of the first beers I had that I really fell for. Often summed up as ’Bottled Summer.’
Pours nice foggy golden orange, good stiff beige head. Smell of a good clean wheat beer, hints of sweet citrus and malt. Taste is similar, a creamy wheat with hints of citrus. Not a big fan of other wheat brews, but this one has a great mix of flavor and mouth feel that keeps me coming back.
