I can’t agree more with the previous rater- Oberon really is a perfect summer session beer. Slightly cloudy yellow pour with medium white head. Citrus, other fruits, mild spice, and wheat on the nose. Flavor is also primarily citrus and hops with malt, wheat, and a little spice. Feels great on the palate, with a medium body, gentle carbonation, and a surprisingly creamy feel for all the citrus in there. A can’t-go-wrong summer classic. HoppyAlesToYou (25), , Indiana, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 11, 2009 The definition of summer for me. A classic wheat beer. Perhaps it isn’t the absolute pinnacle of the style but it sure is good. Every part of this beer is reminiscent of the season. The palate and flavor profile is bright, wheaty, and pleasantly citrusy. Citrus is non-contrived and adds plenty to an already nuanced beer. Take the Blue Moon away from your friends and hand them this. jjkuck10 (36), , Wisconsin, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 6, 2009 Sweet, orange, fruit, wheat aroma. Hazy, golden yellow orange color, with moderate white head. Taste of spice, wheat, roasted nuts and hops and some sweetness. Yeasty, bitterness to finish it off. brewski519 (403), Morrisville, North Carolina, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 5, 2009 On tap at the 42nd Street Oyster Bar in Raleigh this ale poured an orangish color with a thin white head. Aroma of citrus, wheat, hops, spice and malt. Nicely balanced flavor for a wheat ale with orange and lemon flavor and hop character with some spice. Tasty brew. jblendy (518), Midland Park, New Jersey, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 5, 2009 Pretty basic wheat ale. Basic light aroma of citrus zest and just a bit of spice. Flavor follows the aroma well, but again, a little on the light side. Palate is pleasant, soft, and lightly effervescent. Overall, good and fairly balanced, but really nothing all that special. Aroma is wheat, yeast, and light fruits. Flavor is wheaty with an awesome fruitiness - banana, citrus, and tropical fruit - with some sweet honey. Really tasty. Palate medium-light and creamy. Simply one of the best wheat ales out there.
