Pours a cloudy light orange, with a large fluffy head that reduces slowly. Aroma is wheaty, citrusy, and mildly hoppy. A tiny amount of spice detected too on the nose. Flavor is moderately hoppy - more than expected. Also citrus and cream in the flavor, a little sweet malt. Creamy mouthfeel. Pretty damn good for this style. Overall, good to very good. vikingguy (144), Chaska, Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 27, 2009 Pours bright orange-yellow; semi-cloudy with lots of sediment seen if you hold it up to a light; foamy long-lasting head. Aroma has strong hops, orange and some sweet honey overtones. Taste is surprisingly creamy, some grassy earthtones, cracked wheat bread, some citrus and like the aroma, some sweet clover honey. Definitely a little spicy coriander/orange zest as well. I love wheat beers and this is one of the best I’ve had. beernovice39 (256), South Carolina, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 14, 2009 Batch #8354, bottled March 5, 2008. Poured a slightly hazt orange amber color with a small off-white head. There was a good sweet malt aroma with some spice. A nice creamy texture with good carbonation. Despite the haze, carbonation bubbles could be seen rising in the glass. The taste got slightly dry towards the finish with somewhat of a toffee flavor and a little bit of hops at the end. Being over a year old I’m sure this had mellowed out some of the hops. I’ll have to get a fresher bottle to taste the difference.
