Bottle: Aroma is citrusy, pepper, spicey, and dirty wash cloth. Pours a nice hazy yellowish-orange with white head without much retention. Initial flavor is sweet but very weak. Orange is the strongest flavor in the finish. Very slight sourness and hops in the finish as well. Very thin mouthfeel. I have a lot of friends that really like this stuff. It’s decent but nothing all that exciting. 4-4-6-4-14

Time for a re-rate

Bottle: The aroma is citrusy with some notes of pepper, orange peel, and faint banana. It pours a hazy orange with a moderate white head that leaves behind sporadic lacing. The flavor starts with a moderate orange presence with some light banana in the background. The finish has tangy wheat notes, orange peel. and light pepper. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A solid session brew.

Appearance: Pours a yellow-orange body with a full, foamy head that evaporated rather quickly. Smell: An aroma that’s discreetly wheaty, with only a very, very minor amount of clove and banana. Taste: A brief malt sweetness with hints of orange juice and lemon before a burst of yeasty sourdough kicks in. The taste of freshly grated nutmeg synches up with the light, spicy hop finish. Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. High carbonation. Slightly oily mouthfeel. Drinkability: Lively, smooth, and refreshing. Oh, and I really do appreciate the restrained wheatiness, Bells!

Batch 7297 (March 16, 2006). The beer pours to a light golden body with lots of slow moving carbonation. Fluffy white head. Spotty lacing. The aroma is very bready. That’s about it, however. The flavor is bready, wheaty, yeasty with a nice refreshing spicy hop kick on the finish. Quite tasty. Easy drinking palate. Thirst quenching.

Light wheat aroma, with nice hint of citrus. Cloudy pale amber with small foamy off-white head. Medium watery body and medium carb. OK wheat beer, but more bitter than wheaty. Still citrusy and refreshing.

Bottle: Aroma was of buttered popcorn. Hazy yellow body with good white head that stayed for length of beer. Had much like the aroma a buttery popcon flavor which was good. Some spicey notes but a decent beer. Somewhat dry on the palate.

Cloudy color. Grainy body--almost like rye. Spicy end. Light body. Good balance and overall well done. Nice.

This smells great. A malty but good aroma. Flavor is smooth and easily drinkable, this is quite tasty. Hard to even think of this as an American Wheat. Good stuff.

Hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Very subtle yeastie aroma mixed with a small amount of citrus. Served without a lemon; Medium to full-bodied; Great wheat & yeast taste...whle the yeast is subtle, the body shows through, and the malt is noticeable as well. Not too many crazy characteristics to mention, but this beer is one of the best wheats i've ever had...regardless of country. I had mine from a 16 ounce glass served on draught at the Polish Village Cafe in Hamtramck, Michigan on 14-August-2003.
