MIBG Fest: Golden-yellow colour with a tight white head. Aroma and fresh and floral/spicey and slightly soapy, but not unpleasantly so. Mouthfeel is crisp and slightly creamy. Flavour is moderately malty and spicey, and it is a good dry hoppy finish.

Hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Very subtle yeastie aroma mixed with a small amount of citrus. Served without a lemon; Medium to full-bodied; Great wheat & yeast taste...whle the yeast is subtle, the body shows through, and the malt is noticeable as well. Not too many crazy characteristics to mention, but this beer is one of the best wheats i've ever had...regardless of country. I had mine from a 16 ounce glass served on draught at the Polish Village Cafe in Hamtramck, Michigan on 14-August-2003.

12 oz bottle. Pours an orange tinged gold with a small fleeting white head that settled to a whispy film. Moderately cloudy with some sediment in bottle. Nice fruity aroma with lots of wheat, yeast, and a little tangerine. Flavor is typical of an American Wheat with a good spicy wheat and yeasty finish. Mouthfeel is light and lively with an overall refreshing effect. Pretty good, another solid beer from Bell’s.

Pours cloudy and golden with a 1/4 inch white fluffy head. Smells like bread and a touch of citrus. Had to work hard to find the aroma in my glass though. Flavor is surprisingly sweet and not very strong. The taste is like a vanilla sandwich on white bread with a glass of orange juice to wash it down... On the palate it is light and airy as a good wheat should be. Tasty for a summer day, but I’m not overly impressed by this one. It is Bell’s though so it is very true to the style! I could drink it again on the deck this summer.

Pours with a medium size head that slowly fades away. Huge unique aroma, that has several different light fruits in it. Slightly acidic/spicy taste. I drank it at cellar temp, but I can tell this would be a good beer to have in the cooler on a hot day. Thanks PsychProf!

Draft, Brickskeller. Pours a hazy, brownish-yellow color; fluffy white head with great retention and lacing coating the interior of the glass. Sugar and wheat in the aroma. Lively carbonation. Medium, chewy sugar and wheat and light spice in the mouth; refreshing and highly drinkable. Medium, wheat finish.

Pours a hazy straw color with a hint of orange. No real head when poured but when roused forms a thinish white head. Aromas of yeast, fresh bread, wheat, and a bit of lemony acidity. The taste is spritzy, lemony, with a hint of yeast imparted complexity (perhaps a hint of banana and a bit of clove). This is a nice easy drinking hot weather beer. I like the bit of lemon-acidity, whithout which this beer would be a dud. As this beer warms up the fruitiness picks up a bit. There is a nice bit of spiciness, which seems to be from a hop contribution. Certainly recommended if you are in need of Summer time refreshment.

Bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a medium head. Aroma is lemon and grass. Flavor presents a nice, crisp hops with just a touch of sweetness. Palate coats and leaves a lingering impression of the flavors. A great summer brew.
