Aha, another wheat I have yet to try. My mouth waters in anticipation. Then I am presented with a 12 oz brown bottle with a label that could easily have been drawn by any elementary school special needs class participant. Ah well, looks can be deceiving. The beer pours a very cloudy golden color with a large white head. Hmmm - looking up I would say. The strong scent of citrus and wheat is prominent. The scent wafts across the barroom table. Strong orange and wheat flavor fairly erupts upon the tongue. The aftertaste is sweet and citrusy. My wife fights me for the remainder of the glass. We head for home and immediately purchase a case for private consumption. This is easily one of the better wheat beers I have encountered.

From a bottle purchased in Raleigh, NC (Thanks, Margaret!)--Poured a bright, hazy golden-orange with a creamy white head. Wheaten nose with evidence of spicy hops. Nice mixture of American and Czech style wheat beer. Mildly tart and astringent, but mostly fruity and spicy. Finished with a big wheat presence. Pretty good.

12oz bottle. A great wheat ale! Poured a hazy golden yellow with a medium sized white head. Nose of citrus, European hops and yeast. light-medium in body and a very refreshing finish.

wierdly opaque with a fresh-squeezed orange juice-like color...citrus (grapefruit & tangerine) with heavy wheatiness in the aroma...wheaty yeast & citrus flavors with somewhat of a bitter finish.

Bottle batch 7403: Hazy peach in color, small white head. Aroma has some spice, a little yeast, and some mild hop presence. Flavor, bready, spices, some light bitterness on the finish. Some light fruits as well. Plesent and very refreshing.

12 oz bottle thanks to DrBayern - Pours a gorgeous cloudy sunset orange in a weizen glass, with a nice white holding head. Smell is nice and citrusy, with predominantly orange scents, along with light yeasty and hearty wheatiness. Taste is nice, rich and quite full bodied for a wheat. Wheaty thick mouthfeel, but still nice and bubbly and refreshing. Very nice and flavorful for the style.

A very unusual beer. When I opened it I could not tell that it was a wheat. I had aromas of orange I thought. The taste was about the same. It tasted good but I was really confused as to the style. Very fruity aftertaste with more of a bitter than most wheats I’ve had. Carbonation and mouthfeel are good. Unusual in a very good sort of way. An almost thick drinker.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with yem25. Pours a very cloudy yellow gold with a moderate white head that faded to a light film after the first quarter of the glass. Light but pleasant aroma of wheat grain and just a touch of lemon. Flavor is similar but stronger than the aroma with plenty of wheat with just a bit of lemon and perhaps some yeast as well. The mouthfeel is more full bodied and creamy than a typical wheat ale and is a plus for this beer. Refreshing and enjoyable.
