This years is much better than last years. Last year was plagued with diacytl problems. It was very inconsistent (had a few good ones and some really bad ones).
ReRate #2 2004 bottle. This year’s version is way better than the 03. Very zesty and sweet. More sweet than last years which was dominated by a spicy saaz hop thing.
ReRate 10/24/02-had this on tap again, but im still not shure if the tap handle was not changed-tasted more like the amber, but i wasn’t shure. This time around if it was oberon, it was steller!
good wheat, probably my fav, but still not my boat. Huge citrus aroma and light orange appearance. had this on tap the same night i had the sierra nevada summerfest and i liked the nevada better hate to say it.

Pours a very cloudy yellow gold with a moderate white head that faded to a light film after the first quarter of the glass. Light but pleasant aroma of wheat grain and just a touch of lemon. Flavor is similar but stronger than the aroma with plenty of wheat with just a bit of lemon and perhaps some yeast as well. The mouthfeel is more full bodied and creamy than a typical wheat ale and is a plus for this beer. Refreshing and enjoyable. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA

Smells of Wonderbread, orange cream, nutmeg and cloves. Taste is cherry-vanilla, amarillo and orange cream. Subtly sweet. Not really any strong flavor elements; rather reserved. Decent summer drink.
