Bitter, burnt hoppy finish. Nice beer, not great though. More of a cult sensation than a phenom. IPFreely (1470), Lewiston, New York, USA

I ordered this beer at three different bars that all claimed to have it but did not for whatever reason. I didn’t even want it that badly but after getting shut down like I did I HAD to get it. Cloudy golden color with a white head. Wheaty, with some clove and some pear. A bit yeasty, mild citrus. Medium creamy body, refreshing. Thank God, finally an American Wheat worth drinking. dmac (1469), Toms River, New Jersey, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 8, 2007 12 oz bottle thanks to Vyvvy. Look I really like a lot of what Bell’s is doing but is this beer really almost a 3.5? Poured a hazy orangey/yellow/brown with a bubbly white head that looked like appple cider with some large floating chunks. Aroma had some sweetness to it and was pleasant, when you actually smelled it. Palate was medium body with a nice mouthfeel that finished with a slight bit of bitterness. The flavor was light with some hints of fruit but overall needs to kick it up some. For Bells this one is a let down to me. joeycapps (1466), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada
