Pours kind of orangish, hazy with a white head. Great spicey wheat flavor and nice finish. Good carbonation and great mouthfeel, and an awesome summer beer. jaymobrown (1360), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Cold, sweet orange aroma, a bit of mint. Green grass flavor and bitter citrus oil. hint of tomato. Nice touch of hops in the finish. Much higher flavor volume than the usual American-style wheat beer. I dig. fly (1333), austin, Tejas, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 6, 2004 Not really a disappointment as through the course of time I’ve read so many reports here of people that didn’t think a lot of this. The larger disappointment that my brother brought a whole sixer of this, rather than another Bell’s. Still, I hoped for a bit more SOMETHING to come up over the top. Found some, but little comfort in my non-beer drinking brother saying "I could drink this" ... Nice layer of yeasty bidness that did little to impart much over the generally middleoftheroadwithsomebetterflavor. Better than a yawn, but not by a wide margin. biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 7, 2005 Pours an opaque buff with little head. Slightly sour aroma with bread yeast and some spiciness. Sweet and bready in flavor. A little spicy, a little caramel, a little citrus. Nice body. Better than Widmers though not my favorite style. j12601 (1327), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 6, 2009 Bottle thanks to daknole. Thanks! Batch 9100. Pours a hazy gold with a medium white head that fades quickly. Grainy and somewhat unpleasant aromas… must be the Saaz. Sweet and wheaty, light honey flavors. Finishes with a light bitterness, and a bit of cardboard. Rather unpleasant, and a big disappointment for a Bell’s brew. At less than two months, I can’t figure that it’s old, just not so good. scrizzz (1324), kirkland, Washington, USA

My stuffy nose couldn’t detect much beyond the dry wheat nose. Refreshing with a dusty dry side and a liquid sugar side. There’s some enjoyable depth if I look for it, though I also could drink 6 by the pool and not think twice either. Gets more and more dry as I drink it.
