Pour was clear and golden with a medium white head. Aroma was citrus and floral hops. The flavor had some caramel sweetness along with floral hops, and fresh citrus. This was a warn weather brew sampled on a beautiful spring day. 00cobraR (1102), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 10, 2007 Pours out a nice orangy amber color and is a bit cloudy. Has a nice thick head that last for quite a while. Aroma is a bit citrusy and riddled with wheat. Flavor is ver y much the same although its a bit thin on the finish. Overall this is a great brew, but i think i prefer the pale ale over this one. kenb (1100), Oregon, USA

Nose is of course wheatish, with notes of vanilla and caramel. Tastes just like it smells with a fizzy well carbonated finish. medium bodied. VERY refreshing. I do not normally care for wheat beer, but this is extremely tastey! Andrew196 (1091), Katy, Texas, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 24, 2002 Probably the best wheat beer I have had in a long ass time. Cloudy, unfiltered. Rather big-bodied for a wheat beer....it had a unique "citric-breadiness" to it that gave me wood. Excellent sweet finish....great! SubstanceT (1090), Saint Louis, Missouri, USA

Cloudy golden orange in colour with a thin head and visable carbonation. The flavor starts out wheaty and sweet and kind of citrusy ends with hops and moderate bitterness. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 9, 2008 quite a nice and somewhat different wheat ale. almost cloyingly sweet yet full of body and texture. spicy also of a sweet variety and substantial it married itself to a very good alcohol content. lingering sweet finish is not at all bothersome. light citrus tastes in this mildly hoppy offering. good beer! csbosox (1085), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 4, 2005 This is my 6th Oberon so far today. I had one on the way back from the liquor store, after work, three more playing 12 holes of disc golf, before it got dark. (It was 80° today) I had #5 with dinner. #6 is this one. 12 oz bottle. 50.8° and sered in a 22oz wiezen glass. Pours about 3/4 of the way up the glass. Hazy golden color with a 3/4" rocky white head. The beer is so hazy that you can’t see, at all, through the beer. There is a smal white ring of yeast along the bottom of the bottle, and I’m sure in the glass. The head dies and spots the glass. The aroma is wheat and yeast with citrus/lemon notes. The first one I had today had an aroma that reminded me of euro pilsners, must be the Saaz hops. The taste is tart wheat, yeast, lemon, malt, and hints of banana? The body is full for a wheat, in fact, it is full for most beers. The aftertaste is yeast, lemon, and refreshing wheat. This does remind me of their winter wheat with the big body for a wheat and the strong yeast profile. Tasty beer. The flavor seems to change a bit as you drink it.This, it’s cousin winter wheat, , along with Gumballhead, are my favorite wheat beers. kmeves (1081), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA

Soft fruit and wheat in the aroma. Fruity, flowery taste complimented by some mild hoppiness. Medium bodied, finishes slightly bitter.
