Head is very small, white and gone in no time. Smell is fragrant citrus leaves, cotton, butter, sugar and also of yeast. Smells almost like a bag of kettle popped corn. Taste is sweet and bright and could almost be mistaken as a belgian double. The clarity of the flavors are excellent allowing my taste buds to harvest curaco, lemon and lime zest, bubble gum flavored sugars, clove, yeast and alcohol. Taste finishes with a grapefruit-like, dry hop ending. Very good and certainly a top favorite of this style. Given to me by my great friend jbg9348. blank (998), Washington, Washington DC, USA

Typical hazy pour for a wheat beer. Spice, wheat were detected in both the nose and the palate. By far not the best wheat beer , a little thin but a good relaxing beer. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 31, 2006 Without a doubt the best American wheat I’ve ever had. Crisp, fruity, orangey, juicy, with a spiciness from the Saaz that lent a zip to the otherwise clean aftertaste. Refreshing and tart even without the usual yeasty notes of the hefes I love. pinkzambia (989), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 28, 2007 Tap at Slow’s in Motown: Murky & dirty look with a stiff head. The aroma is malty with a mild yeast flavor. The finish is real nice. It seems to have much more body than your average American wheat. Well done! Capa (988), Yokosuka, Japan

Orange, citrus, fresh hops, light wheat, and yeast in the aroma. Full bodied with noticeable carbonation. Orange, light citrus hops, yeast, and spice in the flavor. A very enjoyable, and thoroughly refreshing summer brew. kidmartinek (988), austin, Texas, USA
