Jun 24, 2006 Bottle shared with HogTownHarry & tupalev -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a hazy yellow with a few floaties and a spare diminishing white head. Fruity wheat aroma is mild and pretty straightforward and has a mildly unpleasant macro sugary sweetness to it. Somewhat bland flavour follows the aroma. Light bodied. This is pretty boring stuff, I wouldn’t buy it but if offered I’d drink it.

Nov 9, 2004 I would like to thank all of the little people that made it possible for me to enjoy this beer. Wohlfs (Steve) that is you. Thank you. Pours cloudy orangish with a this durable white head. Nice malty aroma with some citrus and yeasty notes. Tastes like light orange soda. A real nice wheat beet weighing in at 6%, nice!

Jun 11, 2006 Pours a hazy golden with an average foamy white sustaining head. Aroma of citrus (lemon mostly), wheat, grains, malts, banana and spices. Flavors of the same. This one was smooth and refreshing with a light hop and yeast presence and a lingering sweetness.

May 26, 2003 Poured a large envigorating white creamy head with fine bubbles. The aroma appeared to be citrusy. The lacing was sparse on the sides of my glass. It was bitter tasting and it left a lingering aftertaste. I was expecting a better brew than what this one turned out to be.

Nov 28, 2004 Had this at the DC/MD/VA/WV/PA gathering. Bottle courtesy of ??. Clouded amber with a small white head. Nose is watery wheat, some lemon, and yeast. Very grainy. Taste is wheaty and grainy with light citrus and a noticeable yeast note. Body is medium and it finishes with light sweetness, some citrus notes and more wheat and yeast. Seemed average to me.

Aug 4, 2004 Updated: Jul 18, 2008Rerate Still a solid wheat - just not as flavorful as the first time I had it - not as fruit oriented - more yeast. Original 3.7 Had in the bottle at the Chocolate Moose in Ely, Minnesota. Has a faint, citrusy, sprucey aroma. Dark orange, murky appearance - looks kind of like Tang. Creamy, white head, thick lacing, delectable peach flavor, with some hints of lemon. Mouthfeel is kind of zesty and overall a smooth, full-bodied. Very surprised to see this classified as a an American Wheat - seems more like an APA.

Sep 4, 2008 Bottled(355ml). -Light cloudy orange/golden coloured, small white head, few streams of carbonation. Sweet malty, light honey wheaty and weak fruity taste with notes of bread, orange peel and camomile. Dry finish, but overall quite weak beer.

Aug 28, 2006 Draught at Rock island Brewing Company. Clear golden color with paper thin white head that left no lace. Subdued griany aroma. Tastes of light corn and citrus. Light and refreshing, but pretty boring overall.
