Great smooth summer wheat ale with a hint of citrus and spice. Excellent from the tap served with orange slice. I look forward to April every year when Oberon hits the shelves.

As stated on the label... the color and scent of a summer afternoon. This beer is a great warm weather companion that will not only "quench" a thirst but also leave the imbiber wanting more! A= A rich amber color with requisite cloudiness. Upon glass entry, a reasonable head and resulting lace as consumption ensued. S= Definate light fruit with a hint of sweet wheat. T= Smooth and quenching with an off-dry finish. M= 30% weight to viscosity ratio. Chewy. D= "Session" ready . Pairing suggestion: Puffed rice encrusted talapia with mango chutney. Serving type: bottle

This is a great summer ale. Blue Moon is very bland compared to this ale. Nice beer to have while sitting around a campfire.

Pretty light orange on the pour with a little small head that leaves a small amount of lacing. Aroma is of light wheat. Nice, slightly sweet citrus and honey. Very clean smooth and light. Its probably best during the summer but I could enjoy it anytime of year.

Appearance: yellowish color with a slight golden tint; above average-sized white fluffy head; very hazy Aroma: moderate grainy wheat character as desired; low hop aroma as evidenced by fruity, citrus note Flavor: delightful strong wheat flavor with good length into the finish; finishes pretty dry; low-moderate hop flavor and low bitterness Palate: medium body and medium carbonation; pretty smooth

Nice wheat malt and spicy hops in the presentation. An excellent summer ale. Dense white head, and classic wheat beer haze.

So, I’ve had this beer on so many occasions, however I’ve just never rated it...So here it goes. Pours a light orangy yellow with lots of bubbles in the glass. The head is an off white that disappears quite quickly. The aroma is wheaty and unfortunately that’s all I’m getting at the moment because of the perfume I’m wearing :( Aside from that it tastes great. It’s has a very light mouthfeel and is very bubbly. It tastes light and refreshing with a bit of a bitter taste. I like this beer :)

Poured from bottle into water glass at work. Cloudy, burnished yellow-orange with small, but persistent head. Strong orange smell upfront with wheat and Saaz hops in the background. Unfortunately, the smell becomes muted a couple minutes after pouring. Orange flavored citrus countered by spicy (and ever so slightly bitter) Saaz hops. The wheat taste is fairly minimal. The taste of this beer is truly unique, as it seems like an orange flavored Pilsner. Moderately high carbonation. Really feels more like a Pilsner despite being a wheat ale. One of the ultimate summer beers. Easy to keep drinking on a nice warm Minnesota day.
