April 2006 - This beer poured light, cloudy yellow with nice head and outstanding lacing. Aroma was wheaty and yeasty with some oranges (citrus hops are "in" this year, it’s seeming every beer I try is orange/citrus lately!). The flavor was orangey sweet, even more than the wheaty base...smooth and extremely drinkable. For an American Wheat (not my favorite wheat style by a long shot), this isn’t bad. The citrusy hopy make it stand out from the others and I do like the splash of orange. Not as "wheaty" as I would like (which is my common complaint against this style).

I absolutely love this beer. I’m thankful that it is a summer seasonal or else I would be hooked all year long. Surprised me that it was a wheat beer but still full of flavor. Nice golden color with a citrusy flavor.

Tap & bottle. Whoa. Whos idea was this anyway?? Give that man a cigar!! I love this fruity yet hoppy concoction categorically. "What wheat"?? I tend to want another, not accounting for the kick it posits. Simply delicious.

Bottle, served in shaker. Yellow Golden color, hazy. Nice frosty head. Aroma is pleasant with fruit/orange. Great spicy hop flavor which is well balanced. A bit of lacing on the glass. A nice clean finish. Medium-thin bodied. Enjoyable refreshing beer with a good balanced flavor.

Looks like a fizzy glass of summer day! Golden orange in color. Spectacular random bubbles jetting towards the surface. Peaceful hop aroma. very refreshing. Taste deserves an slice of orange. #6547

Bottle. Nose is light sour orange, bubblegum, and citrus hops. Sticky-sweet aromas punctuated by sourness. Opaque bright orange, heavy sediment, lots of slow carbonation up to almost no head. Opens with a sharp yeast acidity, extremely well balanced by citrus rind bitterness. Palate starts chewy, ends dry but smooth. Refreshing and satisfying. An exceptionally well-balanced beer in all respects.
