Aroma was wheaty and yeasty with some oranges (citrus hops are "in" this year, it’s seeming every beer I try is orange/citrus lately!). The flavor was orangey sweet, even more than the wheaty base...smooth and extremely drinkable. For an American Wheat (not my favorite wheat style by a long shot), this isn’t bad. The citrusy hopy make it stand out from the others and I do like the splash of orange. Not as "wheaty" as I would like (which is my common complaint against this style). multibeast (13), Lexington, Kentucky, USA

I’m thankful that it is a summer seasonal or else I would be hooked all year long. Surprised me that it was a wheat beer but still full of flavor. Nice golden color with a citrusy flavor. waolsen (1223), Littleton, Colorado, USA

Simply delicious. urban26mnt (9), USA does not count | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 8, 2006 Bottle, served in shaker. Sticky-sweet aromas punctuated by sourness. Opaque bright orange, heavy sediment, lots of slow carbonation up to almost no head. Opens with a sharp yeast acidity, extremely well balanced by citrus rind bitterness. Palate starts chewy, ends dry but smooth. Refreshing and satisfying. An exceptionally well-balanced beer in all respects.
