Soft but very hoppy, fully aromatic and lightly bready with little to no toast or fruit. Light lemons and a touch of camphor or spearmint. Unusual, full flavored, and dangerously quaffable. brownalegirl (199), Fountain, Michigan, USA

I like the gingery tang to it quite a bit and admire any fuller bodied wheat that escapes banana pitfalls. MaxPower (961), St. Louis, Missouri, USA

Only available in the summer time, this seasonality adds to it’s mystique. Good for Bells, they have managed to somehow create a "Michigan Summer" for the masses to enjoy!! aracauna (2391), Georgia, USA

The first aroma and flavor that you pick up is apricot. A good bit of it. That’s followed by the expected wheaty and malty flavors that start to dominate towards the middle of the glass. Some citric crispness is present througout. Very little bitterness or hop characteristics are present. This is an awesome wheat beer. Just so everyone knows, Hennes is a great big bastard. He gives me this stuff (and an Expedition Stout) and expects me not to get jealous of him being able to have easy access to this stuff. DankbrewedDank (162), East Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA

Me and my friends would drink this stuff 3 or 4 times a week. Its best when poured in a cold glass & you should also stir all the sediment into the beer. It adds cloudy white goodness. This beer tastes kinda like sweet bread. The bells yeast is so tasty. It also has slight citus notes. This isa great warm weather beer. Brewso (238), Mt Kisco, New York, USA

Relatively little complexity. There is no banana on the nose or lasting spiciness like in other wheats I have had. Even as it warms it continues to be one dimensional. Refreshing but nothing to write home about.
Re-Rate 5-06 On Tap. This is a very different beer on tap. Bready, full, creamy with light butterscotch sweetness. You can really taste the Saaz in this- nice spicyness. It really comes alive and is quite a refreshing summer wheat. Always a conundrum- do you rate the fossilized bottle version or the vibrant tap. Mine represents a mean. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
