Me and my friends would drink this stuff 3 or 4 times a week. Its best when poured in a cold glass & you should also stir all the sediment into the beer. It adds cloudy white goodness. This beer tastes kinda like sweet bread. The bells yeast is so tasty. It also has slight citus notes. This isa great warm weather beer. bender (293), Reynoldsburg, Ohio, USA

Very malty and wheaty. Lots of yeast too.
Very subtle wheat taste with the perfectly balanced hop bite of the Saaz. Some yeastiness in the flavor.
Very drinkable beer. ¾ (5011), Boulder, Colorado, USA

Flavor is bright and sweet lemon with ginger. Balanced sweetness with slight sour from the lemon presence. Quite enjoyable. aracauna (2427), Georgia, USA

The first aroma and flavor that you pick up is apricot. A good bit of it. That’s followed by the expected wheaty and malty flavors that start to dominate towards the middle of the glass. Some citric crispness is present througout. Very little bitterness or hop characteristics are present. This is an awesome wheat beer. Just so everyone knows, Hennes is a great big bastard. He gives me this stuff (and an Expedition Stout) and expects me not to get jealous of him being able to have easy access to this stuff. davidoc (113), Chicago, Illinois, USA

This American wheat beer has found its way into the tap rotation of most good bars and restaurants. Overall, it’s an excellent American wheat. It has a solid body and the head sticks around for a while. Slight citrus flavors. The malt is more perceptible than with other wheats. My only complaint is that they seem to have changed yeast strains a few years ago ... this used to have a greaer phenol character. Still, great beer to welcome the sun with. I had one on the way back from the liquor store, after work, three more playing 12 holes of disc golf, before it got dark. (It was 80° today) I had #5 with dinner. #6 is this one. 12 oz bottle. 50.8° and sered in a 22oz wiezen glass. Pours about 3/4 of the way up the glass. Hazy golden color with a 3/4" rocky white head. The beer is so hazy that you can’t see, at all, through the beer. There is a smal white ring of yeast along the bottom of the bottle, and I’m sure in the glass. The head dies and spots the glass. The aroma is wheat and yeast with citrus/lemon notes. The first one I had today had an aroma that reminded me of euro pilsners, must be the Saaz hops. The taste is tart wheat, yeast, lemon, malt, and hints of banana? The body is full for a wheat, in fact, it is full for most beers. The aftertaste is yeast, lemon, and refreshing wheat. This does remind me of their winter wheat with the big body for a wheat and the strong yeast profile. Tasty beer. The flavor seems to change a bit as you drink it.This, it’s cousin winter wheat, , along with Gumballhead, are my favorite wheat beers.
