Bright ,thick, cloudy yellow with a medium head (off tap). Nose is wheat, passion fruit, lighter citrus, maybe papaya. Pleasure on the palate, super refreshing, perfect amount of carbonation. Taste begins with strong wheat and bready notes and bursts into citrus and light tropical fruit flavors with slight alcohol presence in the abrupt saaz hop end. From the big sun tapper, it is a perfect refresher and can go head to head with the best American saisons and the lighter American wheat ales!

Pours a light golden color w/ big carbonation a big thick small bubbled head and some chunks floating in it as well. Scent was initially a nice carmel malt some light fruits and a bit of dough. Palate is fairly creamy almost fluffy w/ a great mouth feel. Flavor is odd at the least a light nutmeg and wheat and an odd hop w/ some very light fruity floral tastes and a mild malt. Overall a great summertime beer.

12 oz. bottle. I don’t really understand why so many raters are dumping on this beer?! the stats page looks like a yo-yo. why not rate a beer for what it is, within the style it has been placed? IMO this is one of the better thirst quenching flavorful Amer. wheat I have sampled. I may have just found a new summer session beer.

Bottle. Moderate aromas of light bread and dough, light notes of lemon and pear. Head is frothy white, with good to fair lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is hazy but sparkling, amber with an orange tint and there’s teeny tiny particles. Flavor starts lightly sweet and moderately acidic, then finishes lightly sweet and very lightly bitter. Palate is medium, creamy and has a soft carbonation. It has a fantastic clean finish. Finally a decent wheat beer. This was really above my expectations. Cheers Bell’s.

Pours a nice and hazy gold with a fair amount of creamy head that laces nicely. Smells of citrus rind, orange, lemon and yeast. Tastes as it smells with spice and a little hops and finishes with a dryness. Feels light in the mouth and quenches ones thirst very well. A session beer no doubt and on a summer day this is an oasis.

My favorite ’local’ wheat beer. Similar to to a Blue Moon but a more distinct taste of citrus and spices. Golden-cloudy appearance with white head after the pour. Goes good with a slice of orange during the Summer months. Only gripe.....Please make this beer year round!

The definition of summer for me. A classic wheat beer. Perhaps it isn’t the absolute pinnacle of the style but it sure is good. Every part of this beer is reminiscent of the season. The palate and flavor profile is bright, wheaty, and pleasantly citrusy. Citrus is non-contrived and adds plenty to an already nuanced beer. Take the Blue Moon away from your friends and hand them this.
