The aroma of yeast, orange peels, sweet malt, quite a treat for this old nose. Sweet with lots of malt, the top middling in feel to the palate, finish has a moderate acidity, the hops spicy in their persistent bite, dry as a desert bone aftertaste, quite a nice beer.

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | May 17, 2004 Pours a cloudy, gold color, spot on for the style. Nose is of floral hops, a bit of sweetness, and a solid note of hops and yeast. Flavor is more hoppy than typical American Wheats, and there is a great bitterness here that is not too common in the style. A very welcome change to a style perfect for summer. flemdawg (485), Naples, Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 21, 2003 Hazy golden color, and a thin white head. A bit of a fruity aroma, but a stuffy nose is preventing any real comments. Bit of a citrusy taste, and a bit of wheat. Dry finish. Over all, not too bad, but Bells has better. It had a wheaty, citrusy aroma. It had a nice slight citrus taste with a hoppy finish. Wheat beers are normally my favorites, but this is a good specimen. BUrunner (92), Indiana, USA

Looks great in the glass with a white head and a somewhat cloudy yellow-orange color. Somewhat spicy, citrus wheat aroma. Flavor is distinct wheat with citrus undertones. Good mouthfeel. crzybob77 (528), Richmond, Virginia, USA

A great beer to pack a cooler and head outdoors with. Finally Bell’s is getting down in Virginia. amee16 (62), Valparaiso, Indiana, USA
