I'm not a fan of wheat beers but this one is OK for my taste. Wheat is not overstated as some. Very nice hops bite. Pleasant aftertaste. Beautiful light straw color. Will buy again

This would be a great summer beer. Sadly it was a Toronto winter day that I sampled it, so the potential refreshingness was slightly lost on me. Either way though, I liked it. Hazy golden brown with a thin head. Malty nose initially then great lemony freshness and some cloves and spice. Flavours follow through and then a nice slightly malty hop finish. Solid.

Bottle: Aroma is citrusy, pepper, spicey, and dirty wash cloth. Pours a nice hazy yellowish-orange with white head without much retention. Initial flavor is sweet but very weak. Orange is the strongest flavor in the finish. Very slight sourness and hops in the finish as well. Very thin mouthfeel. I have a lot of friends that really like this stuff. It’s decent but nothing all that exciting. 4-4-6-4-14

Time for a re-rate

Bottle: The aroma is citrusy with some notes of pepper, orange peel, and faint banana. It pours a hazy orange with a moderate white head that leaves behind sporadic lacing. The flavor starts with a moderate orange presence with some light banana in the background. The finish has tangy wheat notes, orange peel. and light pepper. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A solid session brew.

Pours hazy light orange in color. Yeasty light citrus aroma. Very well balanced smooth easy drinking beer. Finishes nice with a slight orange taste. For alot of Michiganders this is their favorite summer brew. It’s even better with an orange or lemon. But I rated without because I don’t know the boundaries on that. Very nice wheat overall.

12 oz bottle thanks to DrBayern - Pours a gorgeous cloudy sunset orange in a weizen glass, with a nice white holding head. Smell is nice and citrusy, with predominantly orange scents, along with light yeasty and hearty wheatiness. Taste is nice, rich and quite full bodied for a wheat. Wheaty thick mouthfeel, but still nice and bubbly and refreshing. Very nice and flavorful for the style.

On tap at Capitol Ale House (Virginia) - a rich, hoppy wheat with bready notes - complex and very nice. Also tried a bottle, thanks to Adrian. The aroma was not the best, but it was well-hopped and a little sweet. Robust and flavorful for the style.

Pours a murky Amber color. Small white head that goes away rather quick. Nice wheat and sweetness taste. Mild taste of citrus. Much better than most wheat beers. Great beer for those pants-free summer days.

A delicate strong version of a good wheat ale. I would like to compare this to a Blue Moon, another wheat ale that I would like to list as one of my favorites. This brew is great compared though with a richer, more developed taste. Slightly cloudy with a golden head that sparkles. Pours like a river of gold and tastes just as smooth.
