Pretty basic wheat ale. Basic light aroma of citrus zest and just a bit of spice. Flavor follows the aroma well, but again, a little on the light side. Palate is pleasant, soft, and lightly effervescent. Overall, good and fairly balanced, but really nothing all that special.

Bright orange-golden with a trace of fine bubbles. Fruity-floral almost cidery aroma with hints of resin and caramel. Fairly full mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. Mild sweetness and bitterness with a caramel-resin finish. I could drink a lot of this.

Gorgeous appearance of pale gold with slight haze, and mountainous rocky white head that dissipates slowly and leaves behind an abundance of lace. Fresh beer! Nose has light fruit and a clean grain aroma that is subdued. Palate has a lightly sweet wheat component with balancing citrus to give it some complexity. Finish is somewhat fruity-tart, in a good way, and is rather easy drinking.

On tap @ Papago for the Bells launch party. Pours cloudy gold with a soft white head. Aroma smells of wheat bread, orange peel, yeast and bubblegum. Flavor shows the same and is primarily malt driven with additional notes of cookie dough. Overall body is moderate and creamy with soft carbonation. Finish is short. Wheat beers don’t typically knock my socks off, but this is definately a well balanced and expressive example.

A: Hazy golden yellow as you would expect from a wheat beer. There is a nice head upon the pour made up of millions of tiny bubbles which quickly die down. S: There is a nice yeasty malty character to this brew. Very tiny amounts of orange and lemon can be detected. T: Not a lot of flavor here. There is a malty flavor with a hint of orange. Nothing to write home about. M: Light and bubbly.

Orange with lots of yeast, white foam with solid lacing. . Taste is the normal bland wheat with lots of spiciness, yeast, orange peel. Definitely one of the better wheat beers I’ve tried.

Orange-yellow with some noticeably small spotty floaties, white foam with spotty lacing. Aroma is full of red wheat, light citrus, bitter oranges. Taste is spicy, lots of wheat, bitter orange peel.

Good beer. Full of flavor, with a smooth texture and sweet, yet malty taste. Great beer for a summer day in the sun.

12 oz bottle, pours a hazy orange color with carbonation bubbles nearly stationary instead of rising to the top. Aroma is sweet and malty and perhaps a bit doughy. Taste is a good mix between spicy, caramel, citrus, and malt. Palate is very smooth and relaxing to drink. Seems well suited for a sunny day. Quality as expected from Bells.
