unclemike (351), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA Jun 24, 2008 Pours a nice and hazy gold with a fair amount of creamy head that laces nicely. Smells of citrus rind, orange, lemon and yeast. Tastes as it smells with spice and a little hops and finishes with a dryness. Feels light in the mouth and quenches ones thirst very well. A session beer no doubt and on a summer day this is an oasis.
ogivlado (2340), Zagreb, Croatia Sep 4, 2008 Bottled(355ml). -Light cloudy orange/golden coloured, small white head, few streams of carbonation. Sweet malty, light honey wheaty and weak fruity taste with notes of bread, orange peel and camomile. Dry finish, but overall quite weak beer. PattyBoy (295), North Liberty, Iowa, USA Sep 2, 2008 Poured an orange yellow, white head. Summer beer, light flavor, some fruitiness, orange or apricot. Spicy hops. Good BeerCat (1), , California, USA does not count Sep 2, 2008 Perfect beer for the summer. Flavorful, light, and relaxing. Fruity, but not too fruity. Shane087 (24), Jacksonville, Florida, USA Sep 1, 2008 Nice orange amber color with a white head. Orange/apricot flavor, not too sweet. A little too hoppy for my taste but still very drinkable. Perm (135), Tryon, North Carolina, USA Sep 1, 2008 The taste of summer.
12 oz bottle at the Jerusalem Garden, Asheville. This American Wheat beer was a perfect complement to my Middle-Eastern vegetarian platter (falafel, baba ghanoush, tabbouleh, kalamata olives, and hommous with pita).
The fruitiness from the weizen yeast perked right up with the Mediterranean spices and the Saaz finish cut right in with the olive oil in the food to make this a quencher.
Another stellar offering from Bells!
