Ceebs25 (45), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Aug 28, 2008 12 oz bottle. Light on the aroma, nothing off-putting, but nothing too crazy, light wheat, little citrus zest. Not bad on the pour, starch white bubbly head, stays alright, slight lacing, very translucent with a good amount of carbonation and particulate but not that unattractive too me, blond orange in color. Nice mouthfeel, not a ton of flavor (maybe just that the wheat malt doesn’t give much), but not watery either, mellow citrus and some spice, end and linger with minor grassy type hop, smooth yet wish there would be alittle more bite. Really nothing wrong here with this wheat, but not much going on at the same time, but i like it overall for the style jeremytoni (560), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Aug 27, 2008 From a bottle poured a clear organgish color with a fair amount of head. Nice smooth flavor with a quick finish. Chipper (53), Red Lion, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 27, 2008 A amber-orange color with a moderate off-white head. Aroma of fruit, spice, and a little hop. Flavor of citrus and slightly bitter, is very smooth with good carbonation that lasted. Great for summer. in Fleming Island, Florida. Most impressive are the consistent, suspended particles. Really a beautiful orange color with a light head. Aroma was not great, taste was good. Tastes include citrus and coriander. A hair bit too much carbonation. Could have a couple of these on a hot summer day. SSSteve (1512), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Aug 24, 2008 cloudy gold with lots of sediment under a medium sized fizzy white head. looks like grapefruit juice. bright, crisp, zesty wheat aroma with touches of peach, lemon, and banana. flavor is bright with wheat but has some peachy fruit notes with some marshmallow sweetness to balance the biting tart acidity. touches of hops as well. light body and refreshing. quite possibly the ultimate american style wheat ale. wow.
