Commercial Description:
A refreshing, blond colored pale ale. Bell’s pale ale is made almost exclusively from pale malt. It expresses a spicy floral hop aroma and taste.

12 oz bottle, aroma of floral hops and maybee some spice. Poures hazy and taste a little bit on the weak side for flavor. Probly won’t buy it again, most bells i have had were awesome but this one kinda let me down.

Pours very cloudy gold with lots of biright little particlates. A 1 finger chunky off white head, with orange spots in it...from the particulate, and a few spots of lacing. Aroma is mostly spicy and citrus hops, some caramel, a little toffee and some honey. Flavor is citrus and floral hops, just a touch of pine. What malt character is present is pretty grainy and gets washed out by the hops and yeast spice. This isn’t a bad beer by any means just doesn’t suit my taste in the style. Which I maintain needs to be split up into at least two categories. No way this beer should be classified with Alpha King.

This is too boring. Bells does better when it goes big. Pours a light golden with a soft foamy head. One-dimensional aroma (light hops) and flavor (slightly grainy hops with no complexity). Not terrible, but I honestly forgot what I was doing while I was rating this one. Maybe I am being too harsh. (One interesting note that I just saw: there are mysterious omnipresent particles floating motionless in this beer, but the don’t do anything. Is it yeast?)

A very average APA. There’s nothing really special at all about this offering. It pours a cloudy dark gold color with a slightly generous head. There was some lacing left around the glass, but not a whole lot. The aroma was very lacking, with only a small hint of hops and grass. The body was smooth and very drinkable. The flavors were pretty standard, though, with the usual hints of spiciness, grass, lemon and hay. The finish was dry and spicy. This just didn’t have that wow-factor. It just was a usual and standard APA.

Bottle courtesy of dkachur. Pours copper with a white head. Smells of dry malt, light pepper, earthy. Tastes dry and peppery with a crisp finish.

Golden pour with a medium white head and huge lacing. This is a decent effort, but as an earlier reviewer stated, it isn’t much different from any other pale ale out there. A little bit of spice to it though, not bad but hoped for more.
