Commercial Description:
An abundance of rye grains provide a spicy twist to otherwise traditional stout flavors. A unique approach to an entirely new style of stout.

An unclear brown beer with a disappearing brown head. The aroma is sweet with lots of alcohol combined with notes of oranges, and chocolate, as well as hints of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet malty with ntoes of coffee, roasted malt, lemon, as well as hints of prunes and alcohol.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of sliffy. Hazy, dark orangey brown with a small, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt and licorice. Medium body, sweetish, roasted malt notes with a lightly burned edge. The finish is dry. 310807

Bottled at Akkurat, Stockholm. Black with creamy beige head. Burnt aroma of bread and prunes. Dryish with a surprising fruity touch. Medium bodied with spritzy mouthfeel, light notes of nutes and blackberries. Doesn’t have the roastiness usually associated with stouts. Lightly salty finish. Surprising in every aspect.

Bottled. Black opaque colour, minor brown head. Aroma is roast, rye and grain. Flavour is strong roasted malts, wet wood, rye, caramel and licorace. Wellbalanced, quite complex, but still very easy to drink.

black with ruby edges, thin tan head, touch of lace, roasted oatmeal aroma, creamy body, light roasted flavor, very low bitterness, a nice dry and very creamy stout, great drinking but not a lot of character

Very dark brown; nutty, coffeeish aroma; similar palate, fatty mouthfeel. Nice, the rye adds a little bit of difference which is kind of hard to put into words, but I like it.

Cloudy dark chestnut color; the head disappears quickly. Like the American yeast aroma. More persistent, a milky aroma of roasted malt. Medium to light body, with a quite good mix of sweet caramel and some roasted malt. Not my liking, but not bad.
