Jun 11, 2005 An unclear brown beer with a disappearing brown head. The aroma is sweet with lots of alcohol combined with notes of oranges, and chocolate, as well as hints of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet malty with ntoes of coffee, roasted malt, lemon, as well as hints of prunes and alcohol.

Nov 16, 2006 Bottled at Akkurat, Stockholm. Black with creamy beige head. Burnt aroma of bread and prunes. Dryish with a surprising fruity touch. Medium bodied with spritzy mouthfeel, light notes of nutes and blackberries. Doesn’t have the roastiness usually associated with stouts. Lightly salty finish. Surprising in every aspect.

Mar 21, 2007 Bottled. Black opaque colour, minor brown head. Aroma is roast, rye and grain. Flavour is strong roasted malts, wet wood, rye, caramel and licorace. Wellbalanced, quite complex, but still very easy to drink.

Mar 13, 2002 Very dark brown; nutty, coffeeish aroma; similar palate, fatty mouthfeel. Nice, the rye adds a little bit of difference which is kind of hard to put into words, but I like it.

Aug 31, 2007 Cloudy dark chestnut color; the head disappears quickly. Like the American yeast aroma. More persistent, a milky aroma of roasted malt. Medium to light body, with a quite good mix of sweet caramel and some roasted malt. Not my liking, but not bad.
