An abundance of rye grains provide a spicy twist to otherwise traditional stout flavors. A unique approach to an entirely new style of stout.

Bottle, from trade with someone. Damn me for not remembering. Ok nose, roasty. Coffee, caramel, little composty, egg, yeast. Brownish black color, small to no head. Bitter flavor, like aroma but rye shows itself here. Bites you. Thick body, creamy oily, bitter dry finish. Not bad, though I was crazy about the ryew stout mix.

Black with brown edges. Small, tan head settles completely. Nose and taste of burnt, roasty, grainy malt, coffee beans, and cocoa powder. Mocha aftertaste. Medium/full, balanced body. Great dry, roasty stout.

Very pleasant aroma of sweet chocolate, toffee, rasberries and cherries. . . Great roasted malt flavour, good balance of bitter coffee and chocolate with cherries and subtle campfire.

Dark brown pour, thin, sparse creamy light brown head. Aroma is mostly roasted grainy beer. Flavor adds some sweet, rich coffee with fruit hints. Flavor is better than the aroma, but I wish it was a little richer, especially since it is Bells.

pours a very dark brown with a thin tan head. aroma is slightly coffee-like and malty. flavor has the whole sweet/sour thing going on...with the coffee sweetness and some yeasty sourness thing..somewhere in the middle of trumpeters and the oatmeal.
