madmitch76 (493), , Essex, England Nov 15, 2009 28th June 2008. 10 different malts! Very very smooth stout which is creamy. Very lightly toasted malt runs through the creamyness but there is no bitterness. wavers1 (129), novato, California, USA Nov 12, 2009 damn nice cream stout! both nose and taste have a lot of funcky, cheesy notes that work very nicely. it’s like a cottage cheese stout! lol! curly (575), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Nov 11, 2009 Pours solid black with a creamy brown head. Flavor is creamy, chocolate, smoke, roast, toast, cocoa, and a bitter spicy finish. bsp77 (202), Minnesota, USA Nov 10, 2009 Poured from bottle into Nonic Imperial Pint.
Opaque black with thick light brown head and major lacing lines.
Rich roasted aroma, highlighting coffee, dark chocolate, and roasted barley, with semi-sweet undertones of molasses.
Starts off slightly sweet (molasses and dark fruit) but quickly becomes dominated by roasted flavors of bittersweet chocolate and coffee. The taste of cream is persistent throughout and then ends just slightly bitter.
Low carbonation, rich full body, ridiculously smooth and creamy, somewhat dry finish.
Fantastic English-style stout. Lots of flavor yet very easy to drink. However, I am strangely not compelled to seek it out again, as I would the Kalamazoo Stout.

Tripplebrew (490), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA Nov 8, 2009 Pours an opaque chocolate with very thin tan head. Aroma is very chocolatey, vanilla and malts. Flavor is bitter chocolate, a blend of coffee notes and chocolate taking the edge off of any potential sweetness. Abit earthy too.
