Had this one bottled thanks to Chris! Opaque dark brown pour with a thick, tan head, roasted nuts and dark chocolate nose, oakiness, barbecue sauce and soy flavors compete against sweet, chocolate maltiness. Complex, yet strong finish. Interesting.

Dec 21, 2009 This beer pours a black tan head with some really nice lacing. Smel of coffee, chocolate, carmael, and smoke. Flavor is caramel, chocolate, coffee with a nutty finish. A very good beer.

Dec 21, 2009 Pours a deep black color with a very thin short lived head. Aroma is roast milk chocolate. Very clean aroma. Flavor is a little sweet, some milk chocolate with just a tinge of acrid roast on the backend. Very drinkable. Tast beer.

Dec 13, 2009 Bottle. Double Cream Stout? More like Double Head Stout. Huge foamy tan head sits atop a nice dark body. Nose is full of coffee and chocolate - all malt. Tons of chocolate and roasty flavor in this one. Fairly sweet, very smooth, very drinkable. This beer fits the milk stout style to a tee, and it’s a very well-made example.

Dec 12, 2009 Pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma is of caramel, toffee, and a hint of coffee. Nice thick body. Excellent sweet flavor of caramel, and roasted malt with a little bit of chocolate. This is a great beer, and one I will definitely buy again.

Dec 12, 2009 Thanks again to Adrian! Sweet, coffee aroma. Fairly astringent coffee flavor, with a bit of citrus and smoky malt tones. This may have 10 kinds of malt, but there is not much double or cream going on here. For a sweet stout, it is not that sweet - fairly close to a porter.

Dec 10, 2009 A: Pours jet black with a creamy one finger head. Not much carbonation and no lacing to be seen.
S: Not very strong, rather mild to be honest. Picked up some milky chocolate and malt. Not much else.
T: This is a rather mild beer. Has usual chocolate and coffee notes, but nothing really stands out here.
M: Expected it to be a little more full bodied and creamy. It came off as medium, with little carbonation. I would call it dry in fact.
