Regards to Hopscotch for this treat, much thanks! Opague with a thick tan head. Aroma of choocolate, malt and metal. Very smooth sweet milky taste. Very drinkable. Good sweet stout, in fact probably the best sweet stout I’ve had. But I am not a huge fan of this style...

Bottle. Double Cream Stout? More like Double Head Stout. Huge foamy tan head sits atop a nice dark body. Nose is full of coffee and chocolate - all malt. Tons of chocolate and roasty flavor in this one. Fairly sweet, very smooth, very drinkable. This beer fits the milk stout style to a tee, and it’s a very well-made example.

Pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma is of caramel, toffee, and a hint of coffee. Nice thick body. Excellent sweet flavor of caramel, and roasted malt with a little bit of chocolate. This is a great beer, and one I will definitely buy again.

Thanks again to Adrian! Sweet, coffee aroma. Fairly astringent coffee flavor, with a bit of citrus and smoky malt tones. This may have 10 kinds of malt, but there is not much double or cream going on here. For a sweet stout, it is not that sweet - fairly close to a porter.

A: Pours jet black with a creamy one finger head. Not much carbonation and no lacing to be seen. S: Not very strong, rather mild to be honest. Picked up some milky chocolate and malt. Not much else. T: This is a rather mild beer. Has usual chocolate and coffee notes, but nothing really stands out here. M: Expected it to be a little more full bodied and creamy. It came off as medium, with little carbonation. I would call it dry in fact.

Bottle from DuffmanSW. Poured dark black with nice tan head. Aroma and taste was creamy roasty with mild chocolate notes and some smoke. Lower carbonation but very frothy. Overall pretty good.

Bottle from Beerlando. Wow this is a nice looking beer. Totally opaque dark brown, nice tan head. Nose is roasty, slight leather and tobacco and loads of caramelly toffee and brulee’d marshamallow sweetness. Flavor is roasty malt and dark sweetness all the way through. Really enjoyable beer, if not the most complex thing on earth. I’ve yet to have anything less than ’really good’ from Bell’s. Man, I wish we could get them in CO. Thanks, Bryan.

Poured from a 12 oz’er into a plastic Dixie cup. Not ideal, but these things happen. Nice tan head. Roasted malts dominate the aroma. Flavor is leather, raisins, dark and bitter chocolate. Nice bitter finish. Very smooth, heavy mouthfeel. A great one.
