| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 5, 2009 Tangy, juicey hops quickly mixed with some malting, hops had that indication of age, that silght rubbery taste. mildly sweet hop drenced grain malt with a noticable grain presence and a bitter finish that lingers long in the mouth. The emphasis is on the heavy bittering, which makes it different from most other Imp IPA’s seems like a full flavored quality brew, nothing like Hopslam ,which I’m positve most people would prefer

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 27, 2009 unfiltered orange body with a nice long lasting thin white head that laces up a little bit, aroma is hops but some caramel malt fits through ad well, flavor is cascade hops that is balanced very well with a strong malt backbone, after reading a few other reviews I think my bottle might be a little old as it’s really lacking the bright hop flavor that we get from say Pliney and Hop Stoopid, I can tell it must have been amazing fresh out of the fermentor, but it remains a well balanced treat even after the flavor/aroma hop additions start to fade... still this really can’t even compare to many west coast DIPAs that are rated waaaay below this MereLikesBeer (158), Royal Oak, Michigan, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 26, 2009 I shared a bottle of this with Beerbaron617 on Christmas eve. IPA’s, let alone IIPA’s are more his thing, but this beer pretty much won me over. It was not too over the top with hops, and had a wonderful citrus floral aroma which translated directly to the flavor. Super fruity with a well rounded body and flavor. beerinmarch (2829), Washington, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 16, 2009 Deep golden orange body with a thin white head. Big floral citrus nose, not the sharp citrus, but more sweet tangerine notes, like citrus candy. This is my kind of IIPA, less on the beefy bitterness, more so on the big floral notes with an ample sweetness to balance. JPDIPSO (4932), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 11, 2009 LIght copper color with a dense beige head. Aromas of heavy fruit, somewhat tropical and plenty of hops, both citric and pine-like. Quite sweet and thick and chewy. A citric bitterness does a decent job balancing. Flavors of tropical fruit and hints of alcohol along with a mild pepper bite. Nice, but I like a balance ot two hearted better. jcwattsrugger (5581), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 6, 2009 Thanks to Ucusty for the bottle! Pours orange/gold in color. The aroma is sweet with pineapple, mangos, caramel and a bit of lacto. The flavor is smooth and sweet. A little spicy, tropical, and piney in the finish. Good balance. Full bodied, but not syrupy. Very nice. piscator34 (1134), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 5, 2009 Bottled sample via and shared with oakbluff. Light orange in colour with moderate carbonation. Aromas are very tropical, with papaya and mango dominating along with some wood and pale malts in the background. Far less fruity in the mouth, with sharper wood and citrus hop notes. Any malt elements are pushed to the background. Focused and sharp bitterness, with a short yet pleasing finish. I wasn’t wild about the aroma, but I like how it tasted overall.
