Bottle conditioned. Dark brown with a small head. Aromas are rich sweet malts with sticky ripe pear. Spices with smoky notes. Flavours are malty, sweet and syrupy with earthy pine hops. Very spicy, rich and viscous. Warming alcohol. A good heady brew.
