Apple juice colour with a diminishing head, Sweet fruity, pineapple, bananna, and well rounded with the characteristic coriander bite of a good witbier. Very wheaty, grassy, more like a summer brew than a winter one. A good hoppy spicy kick towards the end.

A murky yellow with not much head at all, very carbonated but fizzes out. There’s a good bit of citrus and pepper to it and a hefe character, but the body is pretty thin. Overall, it’s OK.

Decent, interesting beer. Poured with a decent, foamy, frothy, nice sized head and lots of lace. Color is a very cloudy light amber. Aroma is malty, yeasty, wheat, and a little fruity. Flavor’s about the same, fruitiness more pronounced. Great body and carbonation. Easy drinking. Can actually pick up on the qualities of the different yeasts. Could be a session.

A little sweet, belgian yeast. Not bad. Not to my taste, but very drinkable.

Bottle purchased from the Craft Bottle Store in Philadelphia. Cloudy golden pour with basically no head. Instant aromas of wheat, spice and banana tickle your nose. The taste pretty much stays with the aroma but it finishes crisp and clean. For a wheat beer it is tops.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Wine and Beer Westpark, 12/5/09

Aroma: The nose is made up of lots of lemon zest, some banana, clove, other citrus, wheat, and spice
Appearance: Pours a cloudy golden color with a wispy white head and a little lace on the glass
Flavor: Tastes much like it smells, a moderate sweetness that really lasts
Palate: Has a light body, a nice mouthfeel, and a reasonably long duration
Overall Impression: This is not my favorite style out there, but I do like they way this one works. It is a really solid example of what I’m looking for in a witbeir. Nice classic take on the style, and a good, highly drinkable beer. Not sure why its a winter seasonal, but it makes for a good session regardless of the season. Though I don’t see it as an exclusively winter style beer, I could certainly session this one in the winter...

(bottle) cloudy yellow with minimal white head; aroma of citrus and dough; flavours of wheat and a bit chemical, overall not very pleasant

Location: From Whole Foods in Clarendon/Courthouse, VA

Aroma:
Appearance: Nice cloudy yellow appearance for a Witbier..
Flavor: Light slight banana taste. Good taste for a Hefe.
Palate: Nice and smooth.
Overall Impression: A very solid Witbier - shouldn’t be a seasonal.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a glass. The color is hazy light orange with a medium to light off-white head and carbonation. In general the flavor fairly strong clove and medium orange. Good beer, but nothing extremely special.
