On tap at the brewery. Pours with a hazy amber body and a ring. Aroma of hops. Mostly pine and a slight earthy note. Taste is hops, citrus, pine and caramel. Fizzy and dry mouthfeel.

On tap. Pours amber-orange. Fresh citrus hop aroma with a distinct leafy component. Falvor has lemonade, caramel malt sweetness, and herbal hops. Pretty solid, certainly not a shy beer.

On tap at Tustin Brewing’s 13th Aniversary party, dark gold pour is mildly flavored. This struck me more as a session ale

on draft at brewery, consumed on 11/12/07. Not as dark as their amber ale, this beer is a little on the orange/copper side. A resiny hop character greets the nose. Very well-balanced malt/hops flavor, neither overpowering nor overwhelmed. Slightly astringent aftertaste where hops linger on the palate. Not as hoppy as the name would leave you to believe, though hoppier than most red ales I have had.

Had this one a while back and forgot to rate it. I am pretty sure it is an American Strong Ale. It had a pretty strong citrus aroma. Poured a dark red. Flavor was pretty much grapefruit and pine with some mild toffee malt flavor. Resiny and thick. This one kind of reminded me of Arrogant Bastard in a smaller sense. This was a nice special beer, and I wanted to get a growler of it, but got the Strawberry Blonde because the old lady wanted a fruit beer.
