Bottle from Wades Wines in Westlake Village, CA. This one tasted right on strawberries and was a nice, light departure from some of the stronger brews we usually get. As a fruit beer, that’s what you’re getting: a flavored half-beer. Not great, but not terrible either.

Draft: Golden colored pour with little to no head. Fruity, malty aroma, with hints of strawberry. Sweet malty finish. I liked this.

Pours a clear, golden coor with a quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is sourish strawberries. Flavor has some strawberries to it, but not all that strong. Palate is pretty thin, but not unexpected. Overall its something I might suggest for my girlfriend or would consider drinking on a really hot day,but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

A very strong head with a vibrant strawberry smell. Smells more strawberry than taste. Not bad, but wouldn’t consider it good either.

Super blonde coloured body, slightly hazy with a light white head. Aroma of light fruits, strawberries, caster sugar and a pale malt with a tiny amount of hops. Light-bodied; Nice pale maltiness with some sugars noticeable along with a faint fruityness and very little else. Aftertaste shows more of the same with a little more malt and fruit coming out. Overall, this one failed to live up to any expectations, just because it was from SD. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from a small liquor store near Hodad’s in Ocean Beach, San Diego, California on 03-December-2005.
