Jan 25, 2009 Cask handpump at the brewpub, Old Dalby, Leics/Rutland’ 23-01-09 Pours mid amber with a large white cushion of foam, in great nick it must be said. Some lemon rind in the mouth, its a nice citric bite. The bitterness lingers across the roof of the mouth and the tongue. There is a good bite to this, some thrusty hop. Its a tidy and tasty bitter. Oct 24, 2004 Cask at the Swan in the Rushes, Loughborough. Amber coloured with creamy white head. Malty with some mild hops. Alright but unremarkable.

Feb 13, 2004 A mid amber malty best bitter. Low hop presence and a bit sweet, although something a little dryer does creep in towards the finish. Rather like an autumn beer (e.g. Adnams Fisherman) in style. Nothing wrong with it, but I found it rather boring and short of attack. Cask (gravity), Battersea Beer Festival
