Golden color. Aroma is lighter fruits, mainly apricots. Light wheat notes, some pale malt backing, light grassy hops. Sweetish finish, very drinkable. Yeah, another one of ’those’ beers.

Very sweet, light apricots, nice wheat malt finish. Somewhat grainy and light bodied.

On tap at Bend BrewPub in Bend, OR--Poured a light copper body with a small white head. Mild is an understatement to the apricot presence in this brew. Cereal, crisp, grainy nose and body. Weak and uneventful, though quite sessionable.

(Draft: Bend Brewing Company in Bend, OR) The description for this beer says just a hint of apricot, and that’s all I can taste. Barely a hint. It’s pretty light in flavor all around, mildly sweet and grainy, minimally bitter, with apricot sneaking in there. Really, the apricot is so light, it just tastes vaguely fruity. Fairly light bodied, not surprising since it’s a summer seasonal, with hardly any aftertaste. The nose is equally light, with just a touch of sweet fruitiness. Cloudy golden colored body has almost no head, and the few whitish bubbles hugging the side are unable to leave any lacing. One of the lightest apricot beers I’ve had, but thankfully, lacking the gagging perfume quality often found in this style. It’s hard to find anything offensive with this beer, which I can’t say for many other apricot beers, so this is an easy drinker for the hot summer.

On Tap at the brew pub. Hazy pale yellow/amber with a smal off-white head. Slight traces of lacing. Very mild maly aroma with only a hint of the fruitiness. Flavor was similar. Nor hops, light soft malt flavors and barely a trace of the namesake fruit componant. Soft, unfiltered feel and unremarkable otherwise.
