Bend Brooks Street Brown Ale

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a brown color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty caramel aroma with some hints of hops. Roasted malty caramel flavor some creamy nutty hints. Has a roasted malty caramel finish.

Fairly standard brown. Roasted and toasted malt, dry biscuit character. Creamy and earthy with very small hop presence. Somewhat thin. Some light caramel notes.

On tap at bend Brewing pub and restaurant in Bend, OR--Seasonal poured a rich brown-chestnut-mahogany body with a minuscule soapy whitish head. Mild caramel, brown sugar, nut nose. Creamy thin complexity. Watery mild malt and biscuit finish. Not my favorite from Bend, but highly quaffable.
