On tap at Lucky Lab on Quimby in Portland, OR--Poured a deep chestnut/mahogany body with a white wispy, swirly head. Sweet, candy, malty, floral nose. Full-flavored creamy with sweet tannins. Dry, malty, toffee finish. Quite good.

Mahogany body. Aroma is bread, toast, caramel, some fruit, light hops. Medium bodied, somewhat alcoholic and slightly rough. Decent flavors, could be cleaner though.

Draft at the Brewpub: Deep brown with some reddish tones. Medium sized tan head and thick lacing. Nose is lagerish with hints of caramel and dark fruits. Taste is heavy on the malt side with prunes, raison, caramel, and an overall sweet/malty sensation.

Decent, but overall forgettable. Dark with some red highlights, just a hint of creaminess around the rim. The aroma is rich and sweet with some heavy maltiness going on. The flavor is just really tame and light with the same flavors that the aroma has but way more subdued.

Sampled draught at Bend Brewing Company, Bend
Ruby color, no head or lacing. Nose of nice sweet rich malts, subdued alcohol & pronounced carbonation. Flavor is a bit less exceptional with the 2-row really coming out in the overall mouthfeel.

Deep mahogany with no head or lace. Sweet toffee and cotton candy. Small hints of bitter hops. Lots of bubblegum and toffee here. Some bitter hops and loads of sweet malts. Chewy and sticky palate with a sweet, malty finish.
