fakepurseninja (578), Washington, USA Jul 23, 2008 Eh, really weak grainy malt - kind of sour wheat with a lot of lemon. Somewhat dry and moderate yeast. carboloader (301), Houston, Texas, USA Jul 13, 2008 Sampled at the Bend pub. Pours hazy gold with little head. Annoying lemon slice included. Pretty plain hefe. Tasted weak and bland to me. Angeloregon (2023), Portland, Oregon, USA Jun 18, 2008 On tap at the source in Bend, OR--Murky, cloudy, burnt golden-orange-maize hue with a tiny white-laced head. Served with a lemon so it was difficult to determine how much lemon smell was because of this addition or from beer itself. Lemony, citrus, wheaten esters. Crisp, chalky, and refreshing. Dry-sweet finish. Quite good. WeeHeavySD (2031), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Feb 12, 2008 1/1/08 At the BrewPub with Bikesandbeer after a day’s drive from Portland, Brewery 5 of the trip. Pours cloudy orange with a bright white head with lots of lacing, served with a lemon that we discarded. Nose is light wheat with lingering lemon. Taste is sweet light not bad not amazing. SuzyGreenberg (1067), Seattle, Washington, USA Jan 14, 2008 sampled @ brewpub - cloudy orange and served w/ lemon; slight malt aroma mixed in w/ yeast and floral sweetness; mild creamy texture and smooth finish; pretty tasty
