| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 22, 2007 Draft at the Brewpub: Orange/copper pour with a large white head and thick lacing. Nose is heavy on the hops with both citrus and pine. Taste again well hopped with lots of citrus and pine notes, some caramel and maltiness. Has that nice sweet/sour balance and a little warming effect. moejuck (1172), Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 24, 2007 Via trade with angeloregon. This beer froze inside the styro shipper and had leaked out about 1/4 of its contents. I salvaged to the best of my abilities...Nice floral hop aroma with a candy-like caramel scent in the background. Very murky orange/brown color. Medium palate. Very little carbonation left due to the bottle issue, but you can still get a sense of the hop flavor--which is only slightly bitter and is balanced to perfection with the malts. Not quite hoppy enough for me for the style--but I would welcome the chance to rate this one again. Angeloregon (2025), Portland, Oregon, USA

Its big without being unbalanced and the color is as delectable as the nose and the taste. A perfect orange hue with a magnificent head that demands your pallet’s attention. I can’t say enough good things about this beer! Perkeo (318), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jan 17, 2007 Stingingly hoppy. Hop tea. Hop zama looma, a hop bam boom. Hopadelhia. Better HOP to it. HopNoScotch. Soporiffically hoppy. Well hopped. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Mar 21, 2006 Hazy unfiltered golden appearance, monster white rocky head that dissipates into some beautiful clingy lacing. Big funky hop aroma that can only be described as tantalizing. Hugely hoppy this is how I want my Imperials to taste. Still has a kicking malt backbone to tackle the impressive hop profile. Very well done. beerguy101 (3946), Newark, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 24, 2006 Tasted on tap at the 2006 Bistro 2xIPA festival. Pours a slightly hazy medium orange gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, caramel and pine. A medium bodied Imperial IPA. Malts are fruity (apricots and peaches), with some caramel. Hops are floral and citrusy, Medium bitter IPA. Nicely balanced. Very easy drinking, this beer would almost work as a session IPA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
