Light amber with a filmy head and small lace. Mellow malts and a lemony hop aroma. Sweet citrus. Bitter comes out leading to citrus and some spices. Good backing of malts. Bold for a golden, almost a pale. It finishes bitter and malty.

Oh man.. had to be an APA. I was gonna say that this was the best golden ale I’ve had. Oh well. Not sure it’s an APA either as I got German hops, but whatever. German hops, caramel, bread. Orangish color with a relatively heavy body for a golden ale, but whatever. One of those borderline styling beers.

Slightly roasted pale malt backbone with light, citrus hop presence. Nice golden color with a very small white head. Decent all-appealing pour.

1/1/08 At the BrewPub with Bikesandbeer after a day’s drive from Portland, Brewery 5 of the trip. Pours orange with a bright white head. Nose is sweet and light with a light hoppiness. Taste is sweet with a slight bitterness.

Golden-orange in color. Very crisp, light and lively on the palate. Sweet - but light - malt base. Aromatic and flowery hops were nice. Mild bitterness in the clean and dry finish. Not overwhelming with flavor, but easy to drink.

LIght and citrusy with a light malty aroma, with some herbal hop grassiness. Just a hint of diacetyl is present, butterscotch biscuity maltiness, a decent body, and is a litttle bigger for the style, clean and easy to drink.

On tap at the Bend pub. This is the only golden ale I’ve ever had that I liked very much. I agree with Abusedgoat that it seems more like a pale ale at first. Pours cloudy yellow with not much aroma, but decent malt, soft hops, and easy, smooth finish.

On Tapat the brew pub. Pale golden color with a slight of white head. Pale modest maltiness with a matching weak hop profile. Drinkable but not particularly interesting.
