Sweet citrus. Bitter comes out leading to citrus and some spices. Good backing of malts. Bold for a golden, almost a pale. It finishes bitter and malty.

Oh well. Not sure it’s an APA either as I got German hops, but whatever. German hops, caramel, bread. Orangish color with a relatively heavy body for a golden ale, but whatever. One of those borderline styling beers. fakepurseninja (785), Washington, USA

Nice golden color with a very small white head. Decent all-appealing pour. WeeHeavySD (2990), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 30, 2003 Golden-orange in color. Very crisp, light and lively on the palate. Sweet - but light - malt base. Aromatic and flowery hops were nice. Mild bitterness in the clean and dry finish. Not overwhelming with flavor, but easy to drink. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 21, 2006 LIght and citrusy with a light malty aroma, with some herbal hop grassiness. Just a hint of diacetyl is present, butterscotch biscuity maltiness, a decent body, and is a litttle bigger for the style, clean and easy to drink. carboloader (319), Houston, Texas, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 13, 2008 On tap at the Bend pub. This is the only golden ale I’ve ever had that I liked very much. I agree with Abusedgoat that it seems more like a pale ale at first. Pours cloudy yellow with not much aroma, but decent malt, soft hops, and easy, smooth finish. IndianaRed (1555), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 12, 2005 On Tapat the brew pub. Pale golden color with a slight of white head. Pale modest maltiness with a matching weak hop profile. Drinkable but not particularly interesting.
